Jabberwock

This creature is actually a dragon but I’ve always seen it as some kind of mad wizards escaped experiment!

This miniature is from the D&D setting. Completed painting 04/24.

Sorry no progress photos as such. I chose this miniature to paint because its got lots of different textures on it. Some points it has scaled skin like a reptile, feathers around the head and neck area but a very aquatic looking face. Oh and also a pair of fantastic dragon wings! Very much a learning piece. It was a joy to paint and I feel I learnt so much doing it. I certainly haven’t seen a Jabberwock portrayed quite like this as they always seem to be just one colour (usually green).
