Its been a long time since I painted any space marines but I’m happy with the finish. None of the photos really show the blending of reds on the models which is a shame as it took me ages! Guess I need to go heavier on it next time! I left the marines without too many of the frilly options (knives, pouches etc.) as I thought they started to look cluttered. Also next time I wont wash the entire models like I did this time as I like my marines to have that ‘fresh from the drop pod’ look and I spent quite a lot of time covering the staining up again! Last little note, apologies for the really poor video this time. The colours are all wrong and the focus is all over the place. I have no idea why… maybe a proper camera might help.
