Overall I really enjoyed this project but it certainly had its challenges, not all of which I overcame completely. The glaive (called Heartcleaver) wasn’t the result I was going for. It was supposed to look like a glowing crystal blade! I may go back to it in the future. His face, head and flaming crown, I’m happy with. Needs work on the base too….UPDATE… So I have gone back with some new techniques. Used some lighting and glow effects and added some depth to his hide. It now feels more complete but still got to do some thing with that weapon… UPDATE…. I went back to that weapon armed with some more techniques and practice and it now looks a lot closer to what I initially aimed for!
